So, if you are smart you will facebook, tweet, call, whatever it takes to send everyone you know over to vote for your link.
The top 10 will be chosen this way: 5 from the highest # of votes from the linky party and 5 from Random.org so that its not a giant popularity contest.
I will announce the top 10 on Wednesday May 4.

The Deets:
I will be going where ever the winner lives sometime in June. Depending on what the winners summer schedule is like.
In the event that the winner cannot/doesn’t want to claim their prize then the second place contestant will be the new winner.
We will go over all major design ideas before hand. And yes, you will have input. But ya’ll should know that I fly by the seat of my pants 95% of the time…consider yourself warned.
I am so excited that I cant even stand it!!! Do you know how much fun we are going to have? Like any clue? Pretty much its going to be the best week of your life.
I have gotten a few comments about people that cant repaint and it breaks my heart! If you can repaint before you move out then still enter ok?!?!

Can I just tell you how bummed I am at being a renter and not a homeowner. No repainting walls for me. I'm still excited to see your amazing vision transform one of these rooms.

Oooh, now this is sounding real, so I'm entering. Thanks for the clarifications in today's blog post. I am in MA and we have THE coolest "kitchen-to-be". We just don't have the ideas to make it happen!!!!!!!!!!! I know the room has lots of potential, as does the rest of the house, but I need your expertise to make this happen. My husband doesn't listen to my ideas, and I think if he heard someone else, who has the proof to back up her ideas, he would be thrilled. WE've lived here for 12 years, and the kitchen is untouched since day one. Can I tell you how much *I* want to rip off the wallpaper border myself?? It is a big room, for a kitchen, but it's a galley style, so we are lost as to how to best utilize this space.

This is so wicked awesome!!! You see we have an addition that is currently being built... and it is scheduled to be done in something like 4 or 5 weeks. Somewhere around the end of May (as long as there are no more delays but it looks like they will have it fully enclosed as of TODAY!!! and possibly windows in!!!)
Now to get my tush in gear and get pictures and a post going! (btw I have been a secret lurker for some time... i guess it was time to come out of the shadows!)

Oh my goodness! I have checked out most of the entries that are in so far, and I have no clue how I am going to vote. I have a top three, but seriously there are some places out there that have some good "bones." You could really work with some of the stuff. Oh boy, I can't wait for June to see what you do with the winners house. I so would enter, but my husband is weird about stuff, you know like having people over or decorating. I am lucky that he lets me decorate. I was going to enter, and then I realized that he would give me the scowl face. I think it will be just as much fun to watch!!!! Love ya, mean it!

This is such a great competition! Not that you couldn't work some magic anywhere, but some of these gal's idea of a yucky room seems a bit off. I'd take some of those rooms over some of my rooms!
